How ServiceWorxx text messages are turned on

Who receives messages

Only ServiceWorxx subscribers — the owner of a home-services business that pays for ServiceWorxx. We text a subscriber about inquiries made to their own business, and nothing else. We do not text their customers, and we do not send marketing texts to anyone.

How a subscriber reaches this step

After paying, each subscriber is emailed a private link to their own setup page. That page is where they tell their agent about their business — service area, hours, trip charge, what they work on — and it is where the two fields below appear. The link contains a random token unique to that subscriber, so it cannot be shown publicly without exposing their account. The step itself is reproduced here exactly as they see it.

The consent step, as shown

What creates consent

Ticking the box. It is not ticked by default, it is not a condition of buying or using ServiceWorxx, and no number is messaged until it is ticked. When a subscriber saves the page, we store the mobile number, the date and time, and the exact wording shown above, so there is a record of what was agreed and when. Unticking the box stops the texts; the subscriber keeps receiving the same job notifications by email.

What the messages look like

One text when an inquiry comes in to that subscriber's business, carrying the trade, the caller's name and number, the problem and the urgency:

ServiceWorxx - New plumbing job. Dana Whitfield, +13525550137. WATER ACTIVE. Leak. Water heater. Water overflowing from the hot water heater in the garage. Right now - it's an emergency. Leesburg 34748. Reply STOP to end.

Stopping messages and getting help

Reply STOP to any message to stop them. Reply HELP for help, or email hello@serviceworxx.com. Message frequency varies — a subscriber gets a text when a job comes in. Message and data rates may apply.
